LPSC History



This image was probably shot in 1939, when the Loring Park Shuffleboard Courts were a recently-completed WPA project.

As you can see, there was no fence at the time, so police officers were used for security. Which is good, because Lee Harvey Oswald is standing right there behind one of the players.

Are you sure that's a security guy, or is that a "shuffleboard cop," judging the close calls? Maybe you and Mark should wear uniforms with hats, too.
